Project details:
The former ‘Rägeboge’ school building at Blotzheimerstrasse 10 was converted into a home for assisted living for adults with high care and nursing needs. The result was 10 residential places in single rooms and 6 respite places in double rooms, all of which were equipped with technology suitable for the disabled. In addition to the usual electrical installations for access/distribution, lighting, power equipment and media, particular attention was paid to specific systems such as nurse call, fire monitoring and safety lighting.
In these projects, particular attention is paid to the needs of patients, the elderly and staff. Aspects such as age-appropriateness and accessibility must be taken into account, as must facilities for care and treatment.
