Project details:
The Brunnmeisterhaus from 1906 served as a residence and workshop for the filter and pumping systems of the Bruderholz water reservoir and is listed in the inventory of historical monuments. The renovation and conversion into a day centre were therefore closely monitored by the cantonal heritage authorities. In addition to completely new high- and low-voltage installations in accordance with the latest requirements such as obstacle-free accessibility, fire protection and escape route suitability, a further feature of the task was the detachment and development of the site with the former filter systems (now partly event facilities), reservoirs, etc.
The special challenge here is to treat the building fabric and surfaces with the utmost care. New solutions are constantly being developed in close co-operation with the preservation of historical monuments and architecture.
