Project details:
The Antonius Chapel is an extension to Switzerland’s first all-concrete church, St Anton. The technical equipment in the chapel was to be modernised and improved. The general lighting is provided by dimmable LED pendant lights. In addition to sockets and heating regulation, safety lighting was to be realised for emergencies. For special events, a projector has been prepared for connection, which can project onto the screen that extends from the sideboard. Empty audio pipes complete the multimedia installations. The entire equipment required a new supply line with its own fuse distributor.
Lighting and technical equipment are not a priority in religious buildings and their ancillary facilities, and are deliberately ‘suppressed’. However, technical development does not stop here either; despite everything, there is a need for lighting, audio, technical building systems and their operation.
