Project details:
The Clinic for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine was formerly a maternity clinic. All installations had to be adapted to the new building structure and utilisation. After the crossklinik started operating, a category 3 operating theatre with preparation and recovery rooms was retrofitted in the basement – a challenge in terms of planning and execution.
In these projects, particular attention is paid to the needs of patients, the elderly and staff. Aspects such as age-appropriateness and accessibility must be taken into account, as must facilities for care and treatment.
