Project details:
The elongated new building, which replaces the existing parish hall, is characterised by a variety of different uses. Space has been created for the church café with lunch, the parish administration with offices, large and small halls, a youth room, a practice room for bands, a studio and a workshop. The electrical installations for lighting, commercial kitchens, office workstations, WLAN coverage, subscriber switching systems with DECT and security installations, to name but a few, were just as varied.
Lighting and technical equipment are not a priority in religious buildings and their ancillary facilities, and are deliberately ‘suppressed’. However, technical development does not stop here either; despite everything, there is a need for lighting, audio, technical building systems and their operation.
