Project details:
As a specialised care centre for dementia and psychogeriatric illnesses, the new marthastift provides a home for elderly people in need of care. The home, which is geared towards the needs and wishes of its residents, has 100 nursing rooms, an intensive care area, lounges and dining rooms, a dining room with a commercial kitchen, a restaurant/café, a hairdresser, a multi-purpose room and activation centre, ward offices and team rooms, care bathrooms, administration with offices and meeting rooms, dementia gardens, etc.
In these projects, particular attention is paid to the needs of patients, the elderly and staff. Aspects such as age-appropriateness and accessibility must be taken into account, as must facilities for care and treatment.
